The television serial "108 Base Hospital – Uri" is currently being shot amid the scenic yet remote areas of Kashmir, with lead actor Gashmir Mahajani portraying a courageous doctor. Mahajani told reporters that the series is rooted in the true story of the 108 Base Hospital, a facility celebrated for its ability to save lives during emergencies.

He highlighted that the production team felt a high degree of comfort thanks to the Indian Army's presence, describing the forces as "very welcoming" and supportive of the crew’s needs. "The army’s cooperation made the location shoot smooth, and the local police and residents were equally hospitable," Mahajani said.

The program is set to make its premiere on Independence Day, streaming on Colors TV at 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The launch promises a mix of patriotic fervor, medical heroism, and dramatic storytelling, with actress Erica Fernandes sharing the lead role.
