Mihir Ahuja, the actor playing a fighter pilot in “Operation White Sea”, described his unique preparation process that unfolded largely at an airfield. He explained that two days before the shoot he was placed under a lockdown, which prevented him from watching typical training videos online. Consequently, his early days on set felt light, but the experience turned around once he accessed the airport facilities. During a five‑day buffer, Ahuja was able to interact with actual air force personnel, handle fighter‑jet components, and even feel the vibration of a MIG aircraft. He noted that this direct exposure helped him internalize the pilot’s routine, from pre‑flight checks to the emotional weight of flying for the nation.
