Manish Nagdev Aims for New Character After Anupama’s Toshu Stint

Manish Nagdev, who stepped into the role of Toshu after a 15‑year leap in Anupama, told IANS that his ambition is to be seen as a complete actor, not just the face of one character. Over the past two years, he has studied the nuances of Toshu and observed how the audience relates to him.

He highlighted that television offers a unique platform to build a lasting rapport with viewers, yet he believes an actor’s identity should be shaped by a variety of performances. Nagdev promised that when the show wraps up, he will look for a part that challenges him in ways Toshu never did, continuing his track record of diverse portrayals.
