Madhuri Grover Says Their Talks Extended Beyond the Camera

Actress Madhuri Grover opened up about the lengthy discussions she shared with actor Ram Kapoor during the reality series "Lock Up: Truth or Punishment." While social media users speculated about a possible romance, Grover clarified that their relationship was built on a series of in‑depth conversations that went well beyond the scripted moments shown on screen.

"Ram and I developed a special bond based on curiosity and respect," Grover explained. "I consistently asked him about his journey in the film industry, his personal values, and how he navigated challenges. Each answer was delivered with calm patience, which allowed me to absorb a great deal of knowledge."

The production setup, which placed contestants' beds opposite each other, facilitated prolonged dialogue. Grover emphasized that the audience witnessed only a short segment of these interactions. "Our real talks lasted many hours daily, covering topics that ranged from professional advice to personal philosophies," she said.

She also expressed admiration for Kapoor’s seasoned career, noting his willingness to share insights. "He has a lot to offer, and I was eager to listen and learn," Grover added.

Having left the show during its second season, Grover highlighted that fans appreciated the authenticity of their exchanges. The series, available on Netflix, also features participants Aakanksha Chaudhary, Yogesh Rawat, Shreya Kalra, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopda, Soufi Motivala, Dheeraj Dhupir and Varun Yadav, with Farah Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh hosting.
