Koffee With Karan: Alia Bhatt's Surprising Dating Story From Class 6

Alia Bhatt left fans and host Karan Johar astonished during a lively episode of Koffee With Karan when she revealed that her dating history began much earlier than most people expected.

The actor, who has appeared on the show several times, first joined the chat show in 2013 with her Student of the Year co-stars Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. This particular episode turned into one of the most talked-about moments of her appearances.

Karan shared that Varun had mentioned Alia's many young boyfriends during her childhood. Alia responded with humour, saying she would not describe them as a series. According to her, she had two serious relationships, each lasting two years.

Karan was surprised that Alia had been in two serious relationships by the age of 17 and asked whether she had started dating at 10. Alia answered that she had begun dating in Class 6. She then explained that these early connections were not dating in the usual sense, but more like smiling at each other from across the classroom.

The conversation took another turn when Varun joked that it had been 'half-half.' Alia disagreed, saying nothing had been half-hearted. Her first real boyfriend, she said, came in Class 10, and their relationship lasted two years.

Karan also asked whether she had let him go because she wanted to become an actor. Alia denied it and said he had ended the relationship.

Alia's personal life has since moved into a new chapter. She married actor Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022, after dating him for a period of time. In November 2022, the couple welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor.
