Kher reflects on 'Silver Linings Playbook' collaboration with Russell

Anupam Kher recalled his experience working with David O. Russell on the 2012 Oscar‑nominated drama "Silver Linings Playbook". In that film Kher portrayed Dr. Patel, the therapist of Bradley Cooper’s character Pat.

Speaking from Russell’s home, Kher said the project was a “truly wonderful experience” that he will cherish forever. He expressed eagerness to partner with the director again, thanking him and ending with a respectful "Om Namah Shivaya". The movie was acclaimed worldwide, earning eight Academy Award nominations, with Jennifer Lawrence winning Best Actress.
