Karun Jauhar Reflects on a 22‑Year Journey and Says Goodbye
In a nostalgic video posted on social media, Karun Jauhar looked back on more than two decades of “Coffee with Karun.” He recounted how a simple conversation with his father in June 2004 sparked the idea of a coffee‑table talk show, and how a personal loss later that month deepened his resolve to keep the concept alive.
The host noted that the series has survived eight seasons, 161 episodes, and countless changes in the entertainment landscape, thanks largely to an audience that treated each episode like a friendly coffee catch‑up.
“The show gave me friendships, laughter, love, and even a few disputes,” Jauhar said. “But the one constant has always been the viewers – they joked, debated, celebrated, and kept returning for another cup.”
He described the final season as a respectful goodbye, a chance to raise the coffee mug one last time for the fans who have supported the show from day one.
“Thank you for turning ‘Coffee with Karun’ into a part of your daily routine,” he added, inviting everyone to share the last brew on October 14, when the season launches on JioStar.
