Kapil Kaushal Sharma’s Upcoming Film Showcases Decades of Parsi Life

The upcoming movie "Life Still Beautiful", directed, produced and co‑acted by Kapil Kaushal Sharma, charts the evolution of Mumbai’s Parsi community from the early 1990s to the year 2025. Central to the story is Tanisha Mukherjee, who portrays a woman navigating personal and societal changes over time. Sharma highlighted her unique emotional intelligence as essential for the role, emphasizing the need for honesty and depth in every scene. The cast also features Parveen Dastur, Sushmita Mukherjee, and Ananya Dutta, delivering performances that reflect the community’s humor, romance and challenges. Filming took place inside genuine Parsi homes in South Mumbai and the Dadar Parsi colony, with extensive research into language, attire and rituals to bring realism to the screen. The film is slated for an international festival run before a wide theatrical release.
