Kangna Ranawat’s Instagram Warning: Respect Public Space or Face Consequences

Mumbai – On July 28, actress‑turned‑lawmaker Kangna Ranawat posted a pointed message on Instagram targeting recent street protests. She argued that anyone who decides to make a public statement must also be prepared for the audience’s response.

Ranawat highlighted that several protestors have been involved in physical confrontations, used vulgar insults, and caused damage to public infrastructure. She warned that the same society that tolerates such behaviour will turn hostile when its own assets are threatened.

“The people who are being beaten on the streets are suffering because of their own obscene reels,” she wrote. “When you speak, you also have to listen.” She added that citizens who have elected the current government deserve a chance to voice their views, just as the protestors do.

She emphasized that “there is no reason to cry now; every action meets an equal and opposite reaction.” Ranawat urged the youth involved in the student movement to understand the principle of cause and effect, asserting that it will soon become evident.

Her statements are linked to recent viral videos that show protestors employing harsh language and aggressive posturing. Ranawat previously labeled such conduct as belonging to a “generation gutter,” expressing displeasure at the tone and content of the footage.
