Junior NTR Calls for Legal Action Against AI Misuse

Actor Junior NTR took to social media on Saturday to denounce the AI‑generated “Chuttamalle” video that portrayed a woman in a degrading fashion. He urged authorities to prosecute those responsible and described the act as an assault on cultural values.

NTR appealed to the public to avoid sharing, reacting to, or amplifying such content, cautioning that tomorrow it could target anyone’s mother, sister, wife, or daughter.

He also appealed to state and central governments to enact stringent regulations that curb the illegal use of artificial intelligence in media.

The statement follows similar concerns voiced by filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who highlighted the role of publicity in boosting view counts for harmful material.
