The film ‘Jolly LLB 3’, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, initially showed promise, but its box office performance has waned. While the film was well-received, its collections haven’t reflected the positive word-of-mouth. The entry of the South Indian film ‘OG’ has further impacted its earnings, dividing the audience.
After eight days, ‘Jolly LLB 3’ has revealed its earnings. The film’s opening day collection in India was a respectable 12.5 crore rupees. It earned 20 crore on the second day and 21 crore on the third. However, it has not managed to cross 6 crore rupees on any subsequent day. The film’s total collection for the first week amounted to 74 crore rupees. On the 8th day, it earned 4 crore rupees, bringing the total to 78 crore rupees. The gross collection is 88.50 crore. Adding 4 crore, the latest collection is 92.50 crore.
Overseas, the film has garnered a decent audience, collecting 24.50 crore rupees. Combining this with the Indian collection of 92.50 crore, the total reaches 117 crore rupees. The film’s budget is reportedly 120 crore rupees. Therefore, it still needs 3 crore rupees to recover its budget. The performance in the second weekend will be crucial.
‘OG’, a film starring Pawan Kalyan from the South, has posed a challenge, earning over 150 crore rupees on its opening day and potentially impacting ‘Jolly LLB 3’ in the future.
