Director Jason Sanjay’s ‘Sigma’ Promises Action, Comedy and Drama Ahead of Release

Jason Sanjay’s latest venture, *Sigma*, starring Sandeep Kishan, has cleared the censorship hurdle with a U/A certificate, paving the way for its scheduled release on 2 October.

The film, produced under the Lyka Productions banner by Subhaskaren, is marketed as an action‑adventure heist comedy. Its trailer showcases a storyline where the protagonist, after being deceived at a pivotal moment, embarks on a quest for revenge and redemption.

The narrative weaves together elements of crime, betrayal and a massive heist aimed at a ₹500 crore syndicate dealing in drugs and gambling. Kishan’s character, aided by his friends, plans a daring robbery that initially seems successful until the villain Reddi (Sampath Raj) disrupts their scheme.

In parallel, a romantic thread emerges with Faria Abdullah playing Sam, adding emotional depth to the otherwise adrenaline‑filled plot. The ensemble cast also includes Raju Sundaram, Shiv Pandit, Ambu Thasan and Yog Japi, each contributing to the film’s blend of humor and intensity.

The producer, G.K.M. Tamil Kumaran, announced the theatrical debut on his X profile, urging viewers to watch *Sigma* with their families on 2 October, promising a roller‑coaster experience.
