Jan Khan Wants to Portray an Intense Love Story on Screen

Actor Jan Khan, known for his role as Jahaan in the ongoing series “Dil Se Deewangi Tak,” shared his aspirations for future projects during an interview in Mumbai on August 29.

While discussing his current work, Khan expressed a strong wish to headline an “intense love story” that would push emotional boundaries. “I want audiences to feel that when love is portrayed, it should be powerful enough to move them,” he said.

He believes his own emotional nature will help him deliver such performances. “I’m a very emotional person in real life, and I’m not afraid to cry on set. That authenticity can make a scene genuinely moving.”

Khan also reflected on the importance of knowing one’s strengths. “Every actor should be aware of what they excel at. For me, it’s the ability to make people feel, to make them laugh or cry.”

His current role already showcases this intensity, with director Tabberez describing the character Jahaan as demanding and layered, a departure from conventional vertical‑format roles.

When asked about audience memory, Khan said viewers would likely remember his portrayal of Jahaan for its depth and the fresh format in which it was presented.
