Isha Rikki Criticises Big Brother 20 Dynamics and Mahi Interaction

Mumbai, October 5 – In a candid interview, actress Isha Rikki opened up about her short-lived participation in the reality series Big Brother 20, focusing on the show’s internal dynamics and her strained exchanges with fellow contestant Mahi.

Rikki asserted that the program’s editing and limited airtime curbed her ability to let viewers see her authentic self. "The house lived on a compressed timeline, and I didn’t get the platform to react naturally to daily events," she explained. "My personality was filtered out before the audience could connect with it."

She recalled having solid relationships with most participants. Out of the sixteen housemates, fourteen were on good terms with her, and she reciprocated the friendliness. Yet, as people observed each other’s flaws, the atmosphere shifted, and she was forced to leave before establishing a deeper presence.

Expressing dismay, Rikki said, "I am sorry that the audience couldn’t fully understand who I am, though those who paid close attention recognized my nature within a couple of weeks."

When probed about an incident involving Kajiji, the actress clarified that he never approached her directly; instead, he spoke about her from a distance. Regarding Mahi, Rikki felt the actress chose an indirect route to voice grievances. "Mahi should have spoken to me directly instead of creating a narrative behind my back," Rikki remarked, adding that the issue was blown up beyond its actual significance.

She also addressed rumors linking her past marriage to Badshah with her on‑show reactions, calling such connections speculative and overstated. Rikki concluded that many of the controversies were amplified by external commentary rather than stemming from genuine conflict.
