Inside Mira Kapoor’s DIY health bar: nuts, seeds and super‑food powders
Mira Kapoor, wife of Shahid Kapoor and a known wellness advocate, gave followers a tour of her personal “Health Bar” on Instagram. The DIY corner is situated right beside the children’s snack counter, turning the kitchen into a miniature nutrition centre.
The actress described how she emptied the kitchen drawers of assorted nuts – almonds, walnuts, pistachios – and a selection of seeds, then organized them into clear glass jars on an open shelf. Alongside these, she placed small containers of NMN, Spirulina and Moringa powders, labeling each for easy identification.
Mira demonstrated a special utensil that functions as a spoon and a straw, allowing her to mix the powders into coconut water on the spot, a method she finds convenient for quick nutrient boosts.
The health bar also features a variety of ready‑to‑eat snacks: flavored makhana, chopped dates, dried cranberry, protein bars, rajgira chikki, crunchy rice‑cereal mixes and her own seed‑nut bars. Many of these items were sent by friends and family, adding a personal touch to the collection.
She emphasized that visual accessibility is key – when healthy items sit out on a shelf, they become the go‑to choice, reducing the temptation to reach for processed alternatives stored deeper in the pantry.
