Legal Battle Looms as Imran Khan Plans to Challenge FRRO Notice

Facing a deportation notice from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, actor Imran Khan is preparing to contest the order in the Bombay High Court. His legal team, Mjazm Legal LLP, is drafting a writ petition that will argue the notice infringes upon his rights as an OCI card holder.

When approached for comment, Zulfikar Meman, managing partner of Mjazm Legal, declined to discuss the matter. The upcoming court filing is expected to examine whether the prohibition on foreign nationals participating in political rallies applies uniformly and if any procedural lapses occurred during the issuance of the notice.
