Hustle 5 to Spotlight Emerging Indian Rap Talent with Badshah as Mentor

MTV Hustle’s fifth season will serve as a launchpad for fresh Indian rap talent, with veteran rapper Badshah returning as the program’s “Rap Supremo.” He emphasizes that AI and other tech tools cannot replace the genuine emotion and truth that define an artist.

Contestants receive a new theme each week, write original verses, and perform live before judges and mentor squads. Scoring is based on lyrical depth, flow, and stage presence. The season premieres on August 8 via JioStar and MTV India.
