Anjali Arora Calls for Humanity Beyond Religious Labels on Film Set
Actress Anjali Arora, playing the role of Mother Sita in "Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha," emphasized that devotion should not be measured by religious identification. She pointed out that the set welcomed contributors from diverse faiths, especially Muslim technicians and the music director who sang and arranged Rama's devotional tracks.
She said, "True faith shines through our actions toward others, not merely through rituals. Someone may be confident in their religion but may lack humanity."
Arora added that personal belief in God naturally leads to respect for all religions, and she treats every individual on equal footing, regardless of creed.
The epic, directed by Abhishek Singh and produced by Prakash Mahobia and Sanjay Bundela, released on September 25 in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi, featuring Dev Sharma as Rama, Sheel Verma as Lakshman, Nirbhay Vadhwa as Hanuman, and Rajneesh Duggal as Ravana.
