A parking disagreement in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area led to the tragic death of Asif Qureshi, the cousin brother of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. The incident occurred on Thursday around 11 PM in Jangpura Bhogal Lane, as confirmed by the police. A dispute arose between Asif and several individuals over the parking of a two-wheeler near a house’s entrance. The argument escalated, leading to an assault on Asif. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead. Family members, including Asif’s wife, reported that the attackers used excessive force during the altercation, which was allegedly over a minor issue. Sainaz Qureshi, Asif’s wife, informed the police that previous conflicts had occurred between her husband and the accused regarding the same parking spot. According to her statement, Asif had requested his neighbors to move their vehicle, which was blocking the entrance to his home. Instead of complying, the neighbors reportedly became abusive and subsequently attacked him with sharp weapons. The police have initiated a case and are actively searching for the individuals involved in the attack.
