Hugel, Mochaker Headline Sunburn 2026 Closing Night

The closing night of Sunburn Festival 2026 will feature French producer Hugel and Brazilian DJ Mochaker, who will perform together to close the festival's 19th edition.

The closing party will be held on December 20 at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai. It follows the festival's two-day main programme, which takes place on December 18 and 19 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai.

The festival's first day will feature The Chainsmokers and Jason Derulo. DJ Snake and Sebastian Ingrosso are scheduled for the second day. The closing party, however, will be headlined by Hugel and Mochaker.

Hugel is widely regarded as a distinctive voice in global house music. His work combines house, afro house and Latin-inspired melodies. His remix of 'Bella Ciao' helped establish his international profile, and he followed it with releases such as 'I Adore You', 'Morenita' and 'La Verdolaga'. His music pairs Latin rhythms with club-driven sounds and has become a favourite on international dancefloors and festival stages.

Mochaker is among the most prominent figures in Brazil's contemporary electronic music scene. He is admired for his fresh approach to house music and his energetic DJ sets. His music features house, groove-driven rhythms and clear Brazilian influences. Through memorable performances at major festivals and clubs across the globe, he has built a strong international fan base.

Both artists are known for their dynamic DJ sets, which combine diverse musical styles, always with the dancefloor in mind.

Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, said, “Sunburn Festival keeps bringing top global dance music names to India. It also reflects the shifting and expanding electronic music landscape in the country.”

He continued, “This year's edition brings together an excellent blend of international artists and local talent. The closing party takes the festival experience beyond the main event. Hugel and Mochaker each bring a distinctive musical identity to the dancefloor. This makes the closing party a fitting conclusion to Sunburn Festival 2026, and a celebration of the sounds shaping dance music today.”
