How ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ Shaped Zafar’s Career

Ali Abbas Zafar, a former assistant director with Yash Raj Films, earned his first break as a director with “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan”. The 2011 film, set partly in Dehradun where Zafar hails from, featured a plot about brother Kush searching for a bride for his elder sibling Love, only to fall for the same girl, Dimple, portrayed by Catherine Kaff.
