Hilary Duff's Holiday Mood: Love for Christmas, But Only Until January
Mumbai, October 23: Hilary Duff has revealed an interesting perspective on Christmas. The actress and singer says she truly loves the holiday season, yet she also wants its celebrations to come to an end by January 1.
The mix of affection and mixed feelings is reflected in her new EP, 'Holiday Things', which has just been released. The project is her latest take on the festive mood that has long been part of her creative identity.
To announce the EP, Hilary shared a series of cover photoshoot images on Instagram. She also spoke about the things she loves most about the season. These include holiday traditions, familiar songs, festive decorations, warm sweaters, shopping and building gingerbread houses. At the same time, she made it clear that she prefers the spirit to remain within a set period.
Hilary wrote, "If you know me, you know I love Christmas and the holiday season, but my relationship with it is slightly complicated. I love the holiday energy, the traditions, the music, the decorations, the sweaters, the shopping and the gingerbread houses. But I want it all to finish by January 1 and be stored away in the attic."
She encouraged fans to enjoy the new EP fully. Her message was simple: listen to it, store it, and bring it back next year. 'Holiday Things' is now out for listeners.
Hilary Duff first entered the music space in 2002 with the Christmas album 'Santa Clause Lane'. The record contained fresh versions of popular holiday classics, including 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town', 'Jingle Bell Rock', 'Wonderful Christmas Time', 'Sleigh Ride' and 'Last Christmas'.
