These are dictator leaders
Hansal Mehta has described Sheikh Hasina, the 76-year-old daughter of Bangladesh’s founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, as an ‘extremely dictatorial leader’. Mehta said, ‘Attempts were made to stop the release of the film ‘Faraaz’, based on the attack on Dhaka’s Holey Artisan Bakery in 2016, for about 18 months. The very friendly Bangladeshi High Commissioner of that time met me at home, I was constantly threatened by alleged sources from the Indian ‘Cabinet Secretariat’.
I am facing a false case
Hansal Mehta further wrote, ‘I received many calls from high police officials, intelligence service agents, I have been provided police protection for alleged threats from terrorist organizations, I had to go through long litigation in Indian courts, many people made rude allegations against me, I am still facing false litigation in Bangladesh courts …’ The film “Faraaz” starred Jahan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar and Aamir Ali. Kangana did this tweet
Apart from Hansal Mehta, actress and MP Kangana Ranaut has also reacted to the incident in Bangladesh. The actress tweeted- ‘India is the original motherland of all the Islamic republics around us. We are honored and happy that the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh feels safe in India. But people living in India often ask the question why Hindu Rashtra? Why Ram Rajya? Now it is clear why!! No one is safe in Muslim countries. Not even Muslims themselves. Whatever is happening in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Britain is unfortunate. We are lucky that we are living in Ram Rajya. Jai Shri Ram.’
