Haivan Trailer Highlights Asrani’s Last Performance

The latest trailer of "Haivan" released ahead of its September 11 debut has drawn attention for showcasing Asrani’s final acting moment. In the snippet, the late star portrays a delightfully eccentric elderly watchman, adding a layer of comic relief to the thriller’s intense storyline. Akshay Kumar, who stars as a psychopathic antagonist, shared the clip on Instagram, praising Asrani’s craftsmanship and noting how fortunate he felt to have collaborated with the legend.

"Haivan" is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam sensation "Oppam," bringing together Kumar and Saf Ali Khan after almost two decades. The film is helmed by director Priyadarshan and produced by KVN Productions in partnership with The Spian Films, under the banner of co‑producers Venkatesh K. Narayan and Shailja Desai. Supporting actors Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher also play pivotal roles, promising a compelling mix of action, drama, and humor.
