Land offer from Gujarat CM to film educator

During a 2009 visit to Gujarat, director Subhash Ghai met Chief Minister Narendra Modi. After a brief phone conversation, Modi invited Ghai to stay the night and attended a breakfast the next day where Ghai presented a vision for a cinema‑based cultural school. Modi asked what infrastructure was needed; Ghai specified a parcel of land close to the airport. Modi pledged that his secretaries would identify an ideal site along the highway and that any administrative hiccup could be reported directly to him.
