George Krishna Launch, Crew, and Full Theatrical Distribution Revealed

The makers of George Krishna, directed by Srinu Vaitla and starring Sharwanand, have begun shooting a retro mass song for the film. The update was shared by AK Entertainments, which is producing the project.

The official post described the song as a high-energy retro track with mass beats. It also confirmed that George Krishna will release in theatres on January 14, 2027, during Sankranti.

Manasa Varanasi has been announced as the female lead. Insiders say her character plays a significant and influential role in the story.

The film has drawn strong interest from viewers, especially since it marks Sharwanand's first project with Srinu Vaitla following his recent successes with Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Biker.

The film is presented by ATV and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner of Anil Sunkara, with Ajay Sunkara as co-producer.

The film's launch was marked by a traditional puja ceremony. Producer Suresh Babu switched on the camera for the muhurat shot, and MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav gave the clap. Srinu Vaitla directed the first shot himself.

The technical team is also drawing attention. KV Guhan is handling cinematography, Anup Rubens is composing the music, Avinash Kolla is the production designer and Amar Reddy Kudumula is in charge of editing. The story and screenplay are written by Nandu Savirigana and Gopi Mohan, and Kishore Garikipati is the executive producer.

On the day of the launch, the makers made a notable move by releasing the complete global theatrical distribution list for the first time. In the Nizam region, Asian Suresh Entertainments will distribute the film, while Vasudeva Movie Creations handles Visakhapatnam, Vintage Creations covers East Godavari, and Aditya Films takes the West region. Vyom Cinemas is responsible for Krishna, RK Entertainments for Guntur, and Abhi Cinemas for Nellore. Overseas distribution will be handled by Vyom Cinemas and Cinema Paradiso.
