Four Friends Entangled in Mumbai Underworld in New Series Char Yaar

On 23 October, Amazon Prime Video will launch "Char Yaar", a crime drama that explores the lives of four inseparable friends in Mumbai’s early‑2000s underworld. Jay, Tony, Sahil and Sameer, all from modest backgrounds, inadvertently cross paths with dangerous crime circles.

Balancing ordinary responsibilities with the lure of quick money, the quartet’s shared difficulties lay the foundation for their strong friendship. When a single heist goes off course, the incident escalates, pulling each of them further into peril.

The creators stress that the series weaves together ambition, humor, and unpredictable plot turns, making it a compelling watch. Director Vinay Vaykul has assembled a cast featuring newcomers Poorav Jha, Naman Jain, Saquib Ayub and Priyark Mehta, complemented by veteran performers such as Rajesh Tailang and Chunky Pandey.
