Former Traitors‑2 contestant Karan Singh warns of AI‑driven fakery
Karan Singh, a professional mentalist who appeared briefly on the reality series "The Traitors-2", warned that artificial intelligence could erode the trust viewers place in televised content. In a conversation with IANS, he said the proliferation of AI‑generated images and videos is making it difficult to verify authenticity online.
He contrasted this trend with reality TV, describing it as a “safe haven” where what is broadcast is genuinely happening on set. "There is no Photoshop, no AI overlay – it’s pure, raw human behavior," Singh asserted. This, he believes, will push reality formats to become even more prominent as audiences seek truth amidst digital deception.
Singh’s early elimination from the show was linked to his talent for reading opponents’ micro‑expressions, which other participants regarded as a competitive edge, prompting their vote to send him home.
