Family Trip to Tirupati Highlights Naveen Chandra’s Devotion and Film Career

A family outing turned into a spiritual journey for actor Naveen Chandra when he visited Tirupati on September 29. Accompanied by his spouse and children, he joined a group of devotees for the exclusive VIP darshan slot.

Clad in a traditional veshti, the star performed a detailed worship ceremony for Lord Venkateswara, seeking blessings for his planned movies and for the prosperity of his household.

The ancient temple, perched atop the Tirumala hills, is famed for its daily influx of devotees and for serving the sweet, nut‑rich laddu as sacred offering. The ambience of the shrine, with its chanting and fragrant incense, provided a serene backdrop for the actor’s prayers.

In cinema, Naveen Chandra has built a reputation in both Tamil and Telugu films. He recently appeared in the thriller "Police Complaint" and earned praise for his role as an Indian army captain in "Neelira", a film that explores the hardships faced by Sri Lankan Tamils during wartime.
