The controversy reached a peak earlier this month when eleven out of twenty‑one members of SINTA’s executive committee submitted their resignations, including eight elected representatives such as Hemant Pandey, Mukesh Rishi, Sahila Chadha and others. The resignations were accompanied by calls for fresh elections and concerns over dwindling trust in the association’s functioning. Upasana Singh, then General Secretary, claimed the departing members had lodged complaints against Dhillo and Kolhapure, alleging misuse of positions, lack of impartiality in decision‑making and insufficient consultation with the executive body on financial matters.
