Diwali Rush: Apar Shakti Khurana Shares Humorous Travel Tip

Mumbai, October 30: The rush for Diwali travel has made train tickets scarce, while many workers face hurdles in getting time off. Taking a funny approach to the issue, actor Apar Shakti Khurana has advised people to finish their pending work before going home for the festival.

He posted a black-and-white video on Instagram, showing himself on a moving train. Alongside it, Khurana joked about his love for train travel and his wish for Indian trains to play retro songs. He pointed out that many people are going home for Diwali and that trains and flights will soon be fully booked. He reminded everyone to travel safely, reach home happily and not leave any work unfinished, warning that otherwise they may have to listen to their bosses' remarks.

In the video, Khurana used the famous track "Main Zindagi Ka Saath Nibhata Chala Gaya" from the 1961 film Hum Dono. Mohammed Rafi sang the song, Sahir Ludhianvi wrote the lyrics and Jaidev composed the music. The song captures a positive, carefree attitude towards life and encourages people to move on from their worries.

Khurana was last seen in Prem Keetanu, directed by Apurva Singh Karki and produced by Gaurav Verma. Veer Pahariya, Aafiya Sayed, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil also appear in key roles in the film.

The film is a love triangle set around college days, friendship, one-sided love and heartbreak. Khurana plays Ranjeet, a character who adds a major complication and twist to the story.

The film was released in theatres on October 2, after which it drew mixed reactions from audiences.
