From ‘Disco Singh’ to ‘City Beautiful’: Apurva Aroda’s Latest Punjabi Venture

Apurva Aroda, who first caught the audience’s eye in the Punjabi musical “Disco Singh” opposite Diljit Dosanjh, is now back with another regional project – the crime thriller “City Beautiful”.

In an exclusive interview, the actress explained that after “Disco Singh”, she patiently waited for a script that would merit a return to Punjabi cinema. “City Beautiful” emerged as that opportunity, offering a storyline she instantly connected with.

The film is being shot in the bustling locales of Chandigarh and Mohali. Aroda praised the production team for their professionalism and the director for maintaining a relaxed yet efficient set environment.

She also shared that once filming concludes, she intends to seek blessings at Amritsar’s Golden Temple, framing the visit as a perfect way to close this cinematic chapter.
