From Tokyo Streets to European Stages: Diljit Dosanjh’s Upcoming Journey

The Punjabi music icon Diljit Dosanjh took a brief detour to Japan before embarking on his European concert circuit. In Tokyo, he explored the city’s iconic neighborhoods, sampled sushi and ramen, and captured moments of him sipping coffee inside a local supermarket. A highlight of his visit was a spontaneous ice‑cream break, which he shared with fans via Instagram.

His caption read, “Jatt in Japan. Shopping in Tokyo before Europe tour,” a phrase that quickly became a fan favorite. The tour schedule is set to launch on 21 August in Berlin, with subsequent dates in Dublin (25 Aug), Paris (28 Aug), Vienna (30 Aug), Milan (5 Sep), Amsterdam (7 Sep), London (12 Sep), Birmingham (18 Sep) and Manchester (20 Sep).

In a recent post, Diljit also addressed his involvement in supporting Delhi student protests and recounted the backlash he faced after endorsing the farmer movement, where he was labeled anti‑national and subjected to legal pressures. He expressed confidence that a higher power watches over him.
