Delhi Concert Back On: Diljit Dosanjh's Aura India Tour Update
The Delhi leg of Diljit Dosanjh's Aura India Tour 2026 is back on track after Delhi Police reconsidered its earlier decision to halt permission for the event.
The concert, scheduled for October 30 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, had sparked confusion among fans after permission was temporarily paused over security concerns. Reports suggested the show had been cancelled, but BookMyShow has clarified that this was not the case.
Following discussions between the organisers and Delhi Police on safety, traffic and crowd handling, the authorities approved the event. The organisers presented a detailed plan and assured officials that all required conditions would be met.
As part of the arrangements, a no-car zone of 500 to 700 metres will be enforced around the stadium. Security has also been tightened, with approximately 1,500 to 2,000 private guards expected to be stationed at the venue and its surroundings.
Before the Delhi show, Diljit visited Agra and spent time at the Taj Mahal, a moment captured in a video that has circulated widely among his followers.
The Aura India Tour will travel to Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and other cities after the Delhi performance.
