Darshan Rawal Drops 'Sirf Tum' From New EP

Singer Darshan Rawal has released 'Sirf Tum', a new song that he describes as deeply personal. Released on Saturday, the track is drawing interest from listeners who have followed the artist's recent work.

Darshan revealed that the song is especially close to him. His wife, he noted, is generally not a fan of sad music, but 'Sirf Tum' is among the songs she loves most.

The track belongs to his extended play 'The Everafter', which went live on October 23 under Warner Music India. The four-song EP spans love, heartbreak, hope and the many stages of life.

'Sirf Tum' is the second single from the project, following 'Naal Naal Way'. The music video extends the storyline of the earlier release. It is set in a fictional or parallel world and focuses on the anguish of heartbreak.

Darshan stars in the video as Dan, a struggling musician. When Dan wakes up one morning, Niyati, played by Barkha Singh, is gone, and people around him say she was never real. After sharing a perfect connection with Niyati in an alternate reality, Dan uses music to convey the pain of his broken heart, hoping to find a way back to her.

The EP includes 'Naal Naal Way', which celebrates the joy of being loved, and 'Sirf Tum', which tells a story of heartbreak. 'Jaadu' is dedicated to Darshan's fans, his 'Blue Family', while 'Caravan' reflects his life's journey.

Commenting on the EP, Darshan said, “Through this EP, I wanted to share different aspects of romance with my listeners. They have always stayed connected to my honest and vulnerable side, which comes out in 'Sirf Tum'. 'Jaadu' is my gift to my Blue Family. 'Caravan' is a song I can imagine playing while I travel through the mountains and enjoy nature. This EP is also tied to my 'Love Letters' tour, and I am excited for my audience to experience it live.”
