From Comfort Zone to Challenge: Sheena Chauhan on New Police Role

Sheena Chauhan spoke to IANS about stepping out of her comfort zone for the upcoming pan‑Indian Telugu thriller "Jhatasya Maranam Dhruvam." In the movie she will play a tough IPS officer, a role that demanded intensive physical conditioning and mental focus.

The actress said she naturally gravitates toward characters that involve transformation. She believes that genuine growth happens when an actor tests himself physically, mentally, emotionally and psychologically.

Chauhan emphasized her commitment to making each role stand apart. Her theatre background drives her to study a character’s emotions, motivations, body language and the world they inhabit, which she finds soothing for her acting journey.

She concluded that every demanding role excites her, helping her evolve both as a performer and as an individual. Her aim is for viewers to remember the character long after the curtains close, not merely recognize Sheena Chauhan on screen.
