Clarification Video: Ranawat Refutes Claims She Condemned All Youth at Delhi Demo

Actress‑politician Kangana Ranawat released a brief Instagram video on Thursday to set the record straight regarding her July 2026 comments at the Jantar Mantar student protest. A viral clip of a Congress leader suggested Ranawat had called the nation’s younger generation “gutter,” a claim she says is a misreading of her original statement.

Ranawat explained that the protest saw roughly 10,000 participants, of which only about 2,000 were members of Generation Z. “The figure of 30‑35 crore young Indians is the total demographic, not the crowd that gathered on that day,” she said. She added that many of the attendees were senior cultural figures, and that the protest was a mixed‑age gathering, not a generational showdown.

She reiterated that she is herself a young adult and cannot be classified as an opponent of youth. “I challenge anyone to point to a sentence where I singled out an entire generation for criticism,” Ranawat asserted, urging the public to reject what she termed a fabricated anti‑youth agenda.
