Friendship and Film: Chiranjeevi Remembers Guru Amitabh on Special Day

The bond between Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan stretches back to the 2019 venture "Sai Ra Narasimha Reddy," where the two shared screen space. While Chiranjeevi portrayed the lead warrior, Bachchan embodied the mentor‑character Gopal Krishna Venkanna.

In a candid post, Chiranjeevi recalled the initial hesitation he felt approaching Bachchan for the role and how Jaya Bachchan’s support helped bridge the gap. He praised the veteran’s willingness to collaborate and his effortless guidance on set.

Celebrating the guru’s 84th birthday, Chiranjeevi emphasized that beyond cinematic achievements, Bachchan’s simplicity and generosity remain his most inspiring traits.
