Chawla urges eco‑friendly pandal setups as Ganesh festival draws crowds

While speaking about the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, Juhi Chawla called on organizers of large pandals to adopt environmentally sustainable practices. She asked the planners to consider eco‑friendly materials for constructing the idols and decorations, urging them to set an example for others. Chawla believes that if the biggest events go green, smaller ones will follow suit, reducing the festival's ecological footprint.
