Celebrate Diwali with These Classic and New Bollywood Hits

Diwali season brings a surge of excitement: streets fill with shoppers, households undergo deep cleaning, and Lakshmi Puja preparations are in full swing. Music, as always, mirrors this festive spirit, offering a curated list of songs that range from golden‑age melodies to recent chart‑toppers.

First on the list is “I Hai Diwali”, the anthem of *Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya*. Its powerful line‑up—Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Ketaki Dave and Sneha Pant—combined with Himanshu Reshammiya’s composition and Sudhakar Sharma’s lyrics, guarantees that the tune reverberates through every neighbourhood hearing the festive call.

From the 2022 release *Home Delivery* comes the upbeat “Mere Tumhare Sabke Liye Happy Diwali”. Sung by Vaishali, Suraj and Sunidhi Chauhan, the song’s simple yet energetic vibe makes it a staple on social‑media reels, WhatsApp status circles and family jukebox playlists.

“Jalte Diye” from *Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo* showcases a collaboration of four vocalists—Anvesha, Vineet Singh, Harshdeep Kaur and Shabab Sabri. The track has become a favorite backdrop for women showcasing their Diwali ethnic looks and decorative preparations.

The soulful chant “Ram Ayodhya Aaye Hai” by Kailash Kher was originally released on 24 October 2022. Its popularity skyrocketed in January 2024 during the Ayodhya Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha, turning it into a modern devotional anthem.

Lastly, the historic number “I Diwali Aayi Kaise Ujale Layi” from the 1958 film *Khajanchi* continues to hold a special place in the hearts of listeners, proving that classic Bollywood melodies are timeless companions for the Festival of Lights.

Combine these selections, and you have a robust Diwali playlist that blends nostalgia, devotion and contemporary energy for every celebration.
