Bollywood star Sikandar Kher pays tribute to pet dog after its sudden loss

On July 24, Bollywood actor Sikandar Kher mourned the untimely death of his pet dog, ChakkChakk, through an emotional Instagram post that quickly gathered attention from fans and colleagues alike. The post featured a collage of pictures capturing the dog’s playful moments and a heartfelt caption describing the impact she had on his life.

Kher explained that ChakkChakk earned her name because of the characteristic "chakk‑chakk" sound she made when excited. The little guardian constantly looked out for residents of Kher’s apartment complex, offering comfort and a lively atmosphere with her boisterous energy.

He also mentioned another resident dog, Ralph, stating that although Ralph may not miss ChakkChakk as profoundly, the loss affects everyone who loved her. Kher concluded with a tender note, urging his departed friend to remain happy.

The tribute prompted an outpouring of condolences from industry peers, including Pulkrit Samrat, Ayesha Shroff, Gulshan Devia and Arunodaya Singh, each offering short messages of sympathy.

Sikandar Kher, the stepson of veteran actor Anupam Kher and son of actress Kiran Kher, has appeared in films such as Monica, O My Darling, and Monkey Man. His latest appearance was in the comedy‑thriller Baby Do Aur Die, where he played the cold‑hearted developer Jafar opposite Huma Qureshi and Chinki Pandey.
