Bollywood Star’s Personal Saga: Weddings, Divorces and Family

Yogita Bali’s career began in the early 1970s with a supporting role in "Parwana". Over the next two decades she built a respectable filmography, appearing in more than sixty movies, including memorable titles like "Chacha Bhatija" and "Rajtilak".

Her personal life provided the headline material. In 1976 she married iconic playback singer Kishore Kumar, a union that made front‑page news across India. The marriage survived only two years, ending in divorce in 1978.

A year later she married fellow actor Mithun Chakraborty. The couple chose a quieter existence, gradually withdrawing from the public eye. Yogita’s last credited film was "Akhiri Badla" (1989), after which she focused on family life.

The pair raised four children – three sons and a daughter – and have weathered media speculation, including rumours linking Mithun to other actresses. Yogita Bali remains a testament to resilience, navigating the highs of a film career and the challenges of love and marriage in the public sphere.
