Bigg Boss 20's Aman Gandhi Reacts to Tiger Shroff Firing Incident
Mumbai, October 22: Aman Gandhi, a contestant from Bigg Boss 20, has responded to the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff and prayed for his full recovery, physically and emotionally.
Gandhi said he wanted Shroff to get better quickly because the actor is a big star and figure in the industry. He noted that the event would likely have troubled Shroff mentally as well, and expressed his hope that the actor would return to good health as soon as possible.
The attack took place on October 18 in Mumbai's Juhu neighbourhood, when Shroff's car was targeted. Although the actor was not hit and escaped the situation, he received injuries to his hand from gunpowder and glass shards.
Gandhi was also asked about artists' freedom to work. He replied that he did not feel this freedom was diminishing. He explained that he had been engaged in interviews since leaving the show and therefore had not picked up many details, learning about the incident from Instagram reels. He reiterated his wish for Shroff's speedy recovery.
Film industry bodies FWICE and AICWA have expressed grave concern about the safety of stars following the incident and a recent episode outside Rohit Shetty's home. They question how artists and directors can work freely and without fear if they are continually targeted in Mumbai, describing the situation as a direct threat to the freedom of work.
