Bhumi Pednekar Offers Prayers at Tirumala Srivari Shrine
Mumbai, October 27: Actress Bhumi Pednekar, frequently in the headlines for her work and personal life, recently visited the Srivari Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. Accompanied by her family, she performed darshan of Lord Venkateswara and received his blessings.
Her modest presence during the trip has become a point of discussion online.
Bhumi prayed before Lord Venkateswara and other deities at the temple, her hands folded in reverence. Her attire was a beautiful saree with a shawl. She let her hair down, adorned her wrists with bangles, and opted for light makeup, giving her a plain yet graceful appearance.
She sought the deity's blessings with complete sincerity throughout the darshan.
The Srivari Temple at Tirumala is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and ranks among the most prominent pilgrimage sites in India. Devotees travel to the temple from various parts of the country all year round.
On the professional front, Bhumi Pednekar will next appear in the historical film 'The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj', playing the warrior Rani Belwadi Mallamma. Rishabh Shetty takes the lead, while Sandeep Singh directs and produces the film. Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the star cast.
The first part is planned for release in cinemas on January 21, 2027. The film has generated anticipation, particularly because it brings figures from Indian history to the big screen.
Bhumi was last seen in the romantic comedy 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi'. She also featured in the Netflix web series 'The Royals' alongside Ishaan Khattar.
