Romantic Comedy ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ to Hit Theatres During Onam Season

The much‑awaited Malayalam comedy "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" is slated to open on 21 August 2026, aligning its debut with the festive Onam window. Director Girish AD, who also co‑wrote the script with Kiran Joshi, has assembled a diverse cast that features Nivin Pauly, Mamitha Baiju, Vinith Fort, Bindhu Panikkar, Suresh Krishna and Sangeetha Pratap. The project is backed by Bhaavana Studios, a partnership among filmmaker Fahad Fasil, producer Dilesh Pothan and writer Shyam Pushkaran. Technical contributions include camera work by Azmal Sabu, music by Vishnu Vijay and editing by Akash Joseph Varghese. Distributors from the same studio will handle the theatrical rollout, hoping the holiday period will boost box‑office returns.
