Behind the scenes of ‘Operation Safed Sagar’: Bagchi on teamwork with Mirza and Siddharth

Amrita Bagchi opened up about the collaborative dynamics on the set of "Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War." In conversation with a media outlet, she highlighted how the cast, including Diya Mirza and actor Siddharth, prioritise the story above personal hierarchy.

Bagchi explained that Siddharth, who plays Squadron Leader Ajay Aahuja and the husband of her character, focuses on delivering the scene’s objectives rather than seeking the spotlight. "He always asks what the scene needs, what the story demands, and then supports the director and the team," she said.

Similarly, Mirza’s method of diving straight into the emotional core of her role as Kamalpreet Kaur Dhanoa has helped create a seamless flow between characters. The cast’s willingness to elevate each other has been described as the series’ special strength.

Directed by Oni Sen, the show revisits the Indian Air Force’s historic missions from the Kargil conflict and has been streaming on Netflix since August 7.
