Artists Remember the Nightingale: Lata Mangeshkar's Timeless Impact
Mumbai, September 28 – As Lata Mangeshkar’s birth anniversary arrived, a wave of nostalgia swept through Bollywood and the Indian music community. Actor Anil Kapoor posted a cherished photograph of the legendary singer, noting that her voice has accompanied the lives of several generations. He expressed gratitude for having been part of a journey that intersected with hers and recalled the countless moments where her songs added colour to his professional path.
Singer Kumar Sanu wrote an emotional message, describing how Lata’s voice touched every soul and articulated emotions that language cannot convey. He mentioned that learning from her shaped his own career and that the privilege of singing with her remains a treasured memory.
