Acting Over Civil Service: Archana Puran Singh’s Journey

Mumbai – A top‑ranking student at Lady Shri Ram College, Archana Puran Singh was repeatedly told by mentors to join the Indian Administrative Service. When she confessed her passion for acting, teachers were bewildered. Reflecting now, she says acting has brought her love, humor and experiences beyond her imagination. Singh will portray Urmila Devi, an assertive teacher, in Prime Video’s seven‑episode series “Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya”.
