Anil Kapoor Reflects on 50 Days of Hard Work for New Show

Actor Anil Kapoor has spoken about the 50 days he spent preparing for India's Top 1 Percent: The Anil Kapoor Show. He said the journey encouraged him to push his boundaries and give his absolute best.

In a post on Instagram, the Mr. India star said he studied every frame in detail over the course of those days. He added that he would not accept any take unless it was perfect.

Kapoor said that even after many years in the entertainment industry, a project of this magnitude requires complete devotion and energy. He said that is exactly what he enjoys about it.

“Fifty days of pushing my limits, analysing every frame and not settling for any take. After decades of work, stepping onto a platform this big demands your full energy and dedication, and I love exactly that,” he wrote.

The actor also thanked his team for supporting him with the same energy at every step. He said he savoured every moment of the demanding process.

He also shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the set that captures his rehearsals in the lead-up to the final day. Different days are marked with captions like ’40 days left’, ’35 days left’, ’30 days left’, ’25 days left’, ’21 days left’ and ’6 days left’, showing him rehearsing his lines. The video ends with a glimpse of the day that fans had been eagerly anticipating.

Earlier, Kapoor had described how the show tests contestants’ observation skills, logical thinking, insight and ability to remain calm under pressure.

The quiz format puts more weight on the thought process of participants than on the amount of information they carry.
