Amir Khan entered his third marital union when he married Gauri Spratt, a Bangalore‑based salon owner with a background in fashion and beauty. His earlier marriages include a 1986 union with actress Reena Dutta, which produced two children, Junied and Ira, before ending in 2002. In 2005, he wed film producer Kiran Rao, and the pair welcomed a son, Azaad, through surrogacy; they separated in 2021.

The new relationship traces back more than two decades, but the romantic bond only solidified a few years ago. Gauri, who already has a son from her first marriage, had previously collaborated with Amir Khan Productions on various projects. Their long‑standing acquaintance eventually blossomed into love, culminating in the private ceremony.
